GRAND FUNK RAILROAD AUGUST 1 PERFORMANCE MOVED TO RAIN LOCATION

Free Concert to be Held at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch

Due to the weather forecast for Wednesday, August 1, the Summer at the Plaza Capital Concert Series Presented by Miller Lite performance by Grand Funk Railroad has been relocated to the Corning Preserve Boat Launch, located under the 787 overpass at Colonie and Water streets in Albany.

Known as “The American Band,” Grand Funk Railroad’s signature hard driving sound, soulful vocals, instrumentation, and pop melodies still reign over the classic rock landscape with mega-hits such as “We're An American Band,” “I'm Your Captain/Closer to Home,” “Locomotion,” and “Some Kind of Wonderful.”

The concert will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and feature special guest Super 400 opening this free show.

For directions to the new location, visit www.albany.org/listing/corning-preserve-boat-launch/2465/.
