Electricians Recruit Apprentices |

Clay, NY (July 9, 2019) - The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for Central New York Electrical Training Alliance will conduct a recruitment from July 10, 2019 through June 10, 2020 for 25 Electrician apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Please note that the 25 openings listed for apprentices represent the total number for the Central, Finger Lakes, Mohawk Valley, and Southern Tier regions. Applications can be obtained at the Central New York Electrical Training Alliance, 4566 Waterhouse Road, Clay, NY, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., on the second Wednesday of each month, excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. Applications can be completed online at any time during the recruitment period at www.cnyeta.org. If applicants cannot gain access to a computer, one will be made available to them during normal business hours. Additionally, applicants may visit their local library or New York State Department of Labor Career Center for computer access. All applications must be received no later than June 10, 2020. Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner. Under state law, sponsors of programs cannot discriminate against applicants because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, or marital status. Sponsors of programs are required to adopt affirmative action plans for the recruitment of women and minorities. |
