MEDIA ADVISORY: MTA Board Meeting to Be Held In Person and Online Today

Media Invited to Attend Post-Board News Conference In Person or via Zoom


The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will hold a monthly meeting of the MTA Board in person and via Zoom today, Wednesday, Dec. 15.

Accredited media are invited to cover the meeting and a post-meeting news conference, either in-person or via Zoom.

Consistent with Governor Hochul’s announcement regarding mask and vaccine requirements, the MTA is requiring all visitors who plan to attend the Board meeting in person at 2 Broadway on Wednesday, Dec. 15, to show proof of fully vaccinated status. Anyone who fails to provide proof of vaccination status will not be admitted to 2 Broadway for the purpose of attending the Board meeting. This includes reporters covering the meeting.

Reporters who wish to register for the opportunity to ask questions via Zoom at a news conference that will follow the board meeting must email Aaron Donovan at adonovan@mtahq.org by 12:45 p.m. to receive a unique Zoom conference link.


In order to ask questions at the news conference via Zoom, your Zoom screen name must be your actual full name.
