Fifteen Companies Receive New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

The Office of General Services Commissioner today announced that the following fifteen businesses have recently been certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

  • Sui Generis (SGDMGT) LLC, located in Brooklyn, NY, is a marketing consultant for small businesses.
  • Kosher HVAC Corp., located in Brooklyn, NY, installs and manages HVAC equipment.
  • The Traffic Group Inc., located in Baltimore, MD, is a traffic engineering and transportation planning firm.
  • Strategic Global Aviation LLC, located in Horseheads, NY, is an aircraft consultant.
  • Plattsburgh Wholesale Mobile Homes Inc., located in Plattsburgh, NY, manufactures mobile homes.
  • Green 2 Green Consulting LLC, located in Highland Falls, NY, is an environmental consultant.
  • Jedidiah Francis Thone d/b/a Grunts Pilot Bots, located in Rouses Point, NY, is a drone photographer.
  • Veratics Inc., located in Indian Harbor Beach, FL, is an IT consultant.
  • Construction Logistics and Planning LLC, located in Norwich, NY, provides general commercial construction and project management.
  • WJOB Consulting Services LLC, located in Cinnaminson, NJ, is a medical IT consultant.
  • Environmentally Friendly Janitorial and Cleaning Supply, located in Bohemia, NY, supplies janitorial and cleaning supply services.
  • Storji Inc. d/b/a The So Company, located in Brooklyn, NY, is a leadership and management consultant.
  • Versys Technology Management LLC, located in Burlington, NY, specializes in infrastructure design and development.
  • First Person Xperience LLC, located in Levittown, NY, is a team building and training consultant.
  • Steven D. Kasavana LLC d/b/a American Folding Door, located in Hollis, NY, distributes accordion style doors.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May, 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. As of February 22, 2018, a total of 442 businesses have been certified.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
