The New York Lottery today announced that a third prize winning ticket worth $50,000 for the December 12, 2022 Powerball® drawing was purchased in New York. The winning ticket has four matching numbers and the Powerball.  

The third prize winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven store on Southwestern Boulevard in Hamburg.  

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing held on December 12 are: 16-31-50-55-61 and the Powerball is 9. 

Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app. The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m. The jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is now $134 milllion.
