Four Companies Receive New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that the following four businesses have recently been certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):

  • Dominick Nicotera, located in Utica, NY, provides counseling.

  • JCS Construction Resources Inc., located in Liverpool, NY, is general contractor.
  • B&N Inspection and Supply, located in St. Louis, MO, manages assets through on-site surveys.

  • Granite Data Solutions, located in McClellan, CA, is an IT value added reseller.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May, 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. As of July 29, 2019, a total of 681 businesses have been certified.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
