The New York Lottery today announced that a third prize winning Powerplay ticket worth $100,000 and a third prize ticket for $50,000 for the January 3, 2022 Powerball® drawing were purchased in New York. The winning tickets each have four matching numbers and the Powerball.  

The prize-winning Powerplay ticket worth $100,000 was purchased at the Main Street Grocery in Highland Falls. The third prize $50,000 winning ticket was sold at Aakar Convenience in Sunnyside. The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on January 3 are: 2-13-32-33-48 and the Powerball is 22. Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m. For an extra $1 players can add Powerplay, which multiplies a prize – not including the jackpot – by up to ten times. The Powerplay multiplier for Monday’s drawing was 2.
