First Revolutionary War Digital Kiosk Unveiled as part of America 250 Celebration

Who:  NYS Parks Commissioner Pro Tempore Randy Simons and Regional Director Joshua Laird with area school children

What:  Join the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation as they celebrate the semiquincentennial of the American Revolution at Washington Headquarters Historic Site in the Hudson Valley. First of 20 interactive video display kiosks statewide highlighting New York’s rich history ahead of its 250th anniversary (2026). 

Additionally, the display of the first Oval Office used by General George Washington on loan from the Museum of the American Revolution.

Where:  Washington Headquarters State Historic Site, 84 Liberty St., Newburgh, NY 12551

When:  Friday, September 20, 2024, 11:00 a.m.
