Carpenters Recruit Apprentices |

Rock Tavern, NY (August 24, 2020) - The North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Fund (AKA New England Carpenters Training Fund and Northeast Carpenters Apprenticeship Fund) will conduct a recruitment from September 14, 2020 through September 13, 2021 for two Carpenter apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Applications are available online at www.nasctf.org during the recruitment period. Applicants must attend an Information Session offered on the first Monday of each month. Prior to attending the Information Session, applicants must register online at www.nasctf.org. Applicants who do not have internet access may contact their local library or nearest New York State Department of Labor Career Center (https://www.labor.ny.gov/career-center-locator/location-list-all.php) to see if they are open and can accommodate. Applications are also available at the Information Session indicated below. Prior to submitting an application, applicants are required to attend an Information Session at the North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Fund (NASCTF), 10 Corporate Park Drive, Suite A, Hopewell Junction, NY, which is given on the first Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. If the first Monday falls on a holiday, the Information Session will occur on the second Monday of that month at 6:00 p.m. If infeasible to hold in-person, it will be held virtually on the first Monday at 6:00 p.m. At the conclusion of the Information Session, a code will be provided, which is required to complete an application. Under state law, sponsors of programs cannot discriminate against applicants because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, or marital status. Women and minorities are encouraged to submit applications for apprenticeship programs. Sponsors of programs are required to adopt affirmative action plans for the recruitment of women and minorities. |
