ADVISORY: SYLVAN BEACH RIBBON CUTTING |

At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, we invite you to join the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (EFC) and the Village of Sylvan Beach for a ribbon cutting to mark the completion of the East Oneida Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant. The $51 million project to modernize the 1970s-era facility is funded by State and local investments, including nearly $27 million in grants from EFC. This transformative project will protect water quality in Fish Creek and Oneida Lake and deliver reliable wastewater services to 8,000 users in the region. The plant serves the Village of Sylvan Beach, the Towns of Sullivan, Lenox, Verona, and Vienna, and the Verona Beach State Park.
