Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Recruit Apprentices |

Watertown, NY (April 8, 2024) – The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers, Local Union #2 (Ogdensburg), will conduct a recruitment from April 29, 2024 through April 25, 2025 for four Bricklayer, Mason and Plasterer apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Applications are available and must be completed in person at Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers, Local Union #2 (Ogdensburg), 7705 Maltlage Drive, Liverpool, NY 13090, on Mondays thru Fridays of each month from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. Applications can also be obtained and completed during the recruitment period online 24 hours a day at www.BAC2NYVT.org. Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner. Under state law, sponsors of programs cannot discriminate against applicants because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, or marital status. Sponsors of programs are required to adopt affirmative action plans for the recruitment of women and minorities. |
