Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Recruit Apprentices |

Albany, NY (March 27, 2019) - The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers, Local Union #2, will conduct a recruitment from May 1, 2019 through April 30, 2020 for eight bricklayer, mason, and plasterer apprentices; six pointer, caulker, and cleaner apprentices; two tile setter apprentices; and two tile, marble, and terrazzo finisher apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Please note that the openings listed for apprentices represent the total number for three recruitment regions – the Capital District, Mohawk Valley, and North Country regions. Applications can be obtained at the Eastern Contractors Association, 6 Airline Drive, Albany, NY, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. They can also be obtained at Local Union #2, 302 Centre Drive, Albany, NY, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner.
