Don’t Miss out on the March Fun at Bellearye, Gore & Whiteface

2019-’20 Season Passes on Sale NOW

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. --- The calendar has turned to March and spring is just days away. There’s still over a month of skiing and riding remaining at Belleayre Ski Resort, Gore Mountain and Whiteface Mountain, in Wilmington.  

While you’re basking in the spring conditions, enjoying longer and warmer days on your favorite trail be sure to put just 25-percent down on your 2019-’20 season pass and ski or ride the remainder of this season for free. A full-season adult SKI3 pass is on sale through August 16 for just $759, while full-season junior and senior passes are available for only $299. The SKI3 teen pass can be purchased for only $399 and the 20-somethng pass is just $569.

This Saturday, March 9, it’s another Give Back Saturday at Belleayre Mountain, in Highmount. Simply bring a grocery bag filled with pet food and/or unopened new pet supplies (value of $10 or more) to the rental shop or guest services and save 50-percent off the price of a single-day lift ticket. All the items gathered will be given local animal shelters.

Other events Saturday at Belleayre include the Mogul Mash, open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages, and the ski patrol barbeque. This classic family fundraiser begins at 6:30 p.m.

Learn to ski or ride the glades this weekend at Gore, in North Creek. Whether you've been in the trees and want to get better or it's your first time, these clinics, open to advanced skiers and riders, ages 18 and older, are a great way to discover the resort’s 28 glades. Space is limited so be sure to reserve your spot by calling (518) 251-2411, ext. 1004 or emailing reservations@goremountain.com.

On Sunday, March 24, it’s the final Give Back Sunday at Whiteface Mountain. Skiers and riders who donate $10 to Make-A-Wish Northeast New York save 50-percent off a single-day lift ticket.

While at the mountain, learn race techniques from three-time Olympian and two-time Olympic medalist Andrew Weibrecht. He will host a race clinic from 12:30-1:30 p.m. and a recreational giant slalom race immediately follows. The cost to participate is $100 per skier and the clinic and race are limited to the first 50 registrants.
