The New York Lottery today announced that a Powerplay third prize winning ticket worth $150,000 for the January 11, 2023 Powerball® drawing was purchased in New York. The winning ticket has four matching numbers and the Powerball.  

The Powerplay Powerball ticket was sold at the A-Plus store on West Merrick Road in Valley Stream. 

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing held on January 11 are: 4-8-46-47-48 and the Powerball is 5. The multiplier for this drawing is 3, which means that winner's prize increased to $150,000.

For $1 extra per game, players can add the Powerplay, which multiplies the prize – not including the jackpot – by up to ten times.

Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app. The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26.

The jackpot for Saturday's drawing is an estimated $404 milllion. 

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.
