Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Recruit Apprentices |

Watertown, NY (April 3, 2019) – The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers, Local Union #2 (Ogdensburg), will conduct a recruitment from May 28, 2019 through May 22, 2020 for five bricklayer, mason, and plasterer apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Applications can be obtained at: The Work Place (One Stop Career Center), 1000 Coffeen Street, Watertown, NY, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. Applications can also be obtained at the St. Lawrence Career Center, 80 State Highway 310, Suite 8, Canton, NY, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. Applications are also available and can be submitted online at www.bac2nyvt.org. Completed applications should be returned to either of the two One Stop Career Center locations listed above. Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner. Under state law, sponsors of programs cannot discriminate against applicants because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, or marital status.
