WHITEFACE MOUNTAIN OPENS FOR THE SUMMER AUGUST 1st at 11am

New Cloudsplitter gondola cabins have arrived for summer rides

Wilmington, NY- Whiteface Mountain is now open for scenic gondola rides, hiking and disc golf. These activities wil be available daily, from 9:30am-5pm during the summer. Additionally, J’ Lohr Café will also be available daily for foodservice. https://www.whiteface.com/operational-updates

 

Enjoy a scenic Cloudsplitter gondola ride in one of our new gondola cabins, with stunning views of the High Peaks and surrounding Adirondacks. Ninety minutes of exploring the Adirondack woods will do a lot for the soul! Pass through cool stands of hemlocks, tracing the river's zigs and zags on the Stag Brook Falls Trail. Your walk, suitable for hikers of all ages, ends gloriously at a rushing waterfall, with the cool Adirondack water cascading down mossy rocks and ledges. Come experience disc golf and see why this fast-growing sport is now played throughout the United States and more than 20 other countries worldwide. Our nine-hole course utilizes the lower portion of Whiteface. It meanders on some of our favorite trails including Lower Valley, Round About, Boreen, Mixing Bowl and many more.
