The MTAPD is requesting the public's help in locating a suspect in the unprovoked assault April 13, 2024 at 1149 hours on a nine year-old female in the Grand Central Terminal dining concourse. Investigation reveals that the victim, a resident of the Bronx, was standing near her mother, when the perpetrator approached without warning and punched the girl in the face, causing dizziness and pain. 

Nearby MTAPD officers responded to render aid. The victim was transported to NYU Langone - Tisch Hospital for treatment.

The perpetrator, who is known to the MTAPD, fled to parts unknown.

Suspect:

• Jean Carlos Zarzuela
• 30 years-old
• 5 foot-7 inches height
• 150 pounds
