Mega Millions Jackpot Hits $1 Billion

Record high for Friday's drawing

The estimated annuity value of the jackpot for tonight’s Mega Millions Drawing has been increased to $1 billion. As the largest jackpot in the game’s history, it is the first to top the $1 billion mark. The cash value of the jackpot will be $565.6 million.

The previous high Mega Millions jackpot was a $656 million prize that was shared by winners from Kansas, Illinois and Maryland in March of 2012.
