OGS ANNOUNCES LINEUP FOR NEW YORK STATE’S SUMMER STAGE IN HARLEM CONCERT SERIES

Free Thursday Night Concerts July 28 – August 25

New York State Office of General Services Commissioner Jeanette Moy today announced the lineup for New York State’s Summer Stage in Harlem 2022 series of free concerts presented by the Harlem Community Development Corporation that will be presented from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays at the Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. State Office Building at 163 West 125th Street in Harlem. 

“We are excited to continue the Summer tradition of holding free Thursday evening concerts at the Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. State Office Building,” Commissioner Moy said. “From jazz to the blues, we’ve got something for everyone this year, and I want to thank the Harlem Community Development Corporation and all our generous sponsors who are making it possible for us to present this amazing lineup of entertainment in Harlem.”

Concert Schedule

July 28: Latin Jazz Night

The vibrant, New York City-based all-female salsa band Lulada Club and The Steve Kroon Latin Jazz Quartet’s high-energy, electrifying Afro Cuban and Brazilian jazz musicians will take the stage in Harlem for an evening of Latin jazz.

August 4: Jazzmobile All-Stars Salute Louis Armstrong

August 11: The National Jazz Museum All-Stars Salute Joey Morant

August 18: Artz, Rootz, and Rhythm Night

August 25: Family — Back to School Night

All events are free and open to the public. Please bring your own chair.

No alcoholic beverages, coolers (defined as rigid insulated containers), or glass containers of any kind; no pets will be allowed (ADA-defined service animals are permitted). Any type of recording of the performance or presentation is prohibited without prior written consent.
