ADVISORY: MTA, NYCDOT to Announce New Bus Priority Measures to Shorten Travel Times for Riders on Busy 149 St. Corridor in the Bronx

Leaders from the MTA and New York City Department of Transportation will join elected officials today marking the announcement of new bus lanes in the Bronx. Officials will discuss the transformative improvements associated with dedicated bus lanes and preview the new lanes that serve four routes along 149 St.

Following the news conference, reporters and photographers will have an opportunity to ride a bus along a bus lane through the corridor westbound on 149 St.
