ADVISORY: MTA Special Board Meeting to be Held Tomorrow

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will hold a special virtual meeting of the MTA Board on Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 10 a.m.

Chairman Patrick J. Foye will convene a meeting to discuss MTA finances in light of the federal government’s failure to provide additional COVID-19 pandemic funding, and need for $12 billion in funding through the end of 2021. No matters are planned for voting by the Board.

A Zoom news conference will follow the conclusion of the meeting.
