COMMISSIONER REARDON HOSTS KINGSTON RECRUITMENT DAY16 Businesses to Offer 209 Job Opportunities; Event is Part of Commissioner’s Statewide Tour to Promote Local Hiring |

New York State Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon today announced that the third Recruitment Day in her statewide tour will be held Thursday, June 15th at the SUNY Ulster, Kingston Campus, located at 94 Marys Ave., in Kingston. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with 16 businesses offering 209 job opportunities expected to attend. “Recruitment events are always exciting for businesses and job seekers alike,” said Commissioner Reardon. “ For businesses, these events offer a unique opportunity to survey local talent, and for job seekers, they offer the face-to-face meeting that can make the difference in getting that new job they’re after. The Department of Labor is pleased to be able to facilitate these events and I look forward to a productive day in Kingston!” At Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s direction, Commissioner Reardon will be traveling throughout the state in order to facilitate Recruitment Day events to promote hiring local workers. She will also be meeting with union leadership to discuss regional issues.
