Sixteen Companies Receive New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that the following sixteen businesses have recently been certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

  • Ossisto Consulting USA Inc., located in Buffalo, NY, provides IT support.
  • Military Wellness & Readiness Solutions LLC, located in Lake Placid, NY, manages outdoor sport and recreation facilities and programs.

  • Consolidated Power & Signals Inc., located in New Tripoli, PA, provides construction management services.

  • Nuvo Group Construction Inc., located in Brooklyn, NY, specializes in general construction.
  • Strider Development Services LLC, located in Mendham, NJ, is a software designer and web developer.
  • JDS Electrical Inc., located in North Tonawanda, NY, provides electrical and general construction.
  • Maroon Software LLC, located in Vernon, NJ, develops applications and software customization.
  • Caryne Construction LLC, located in Theresa, NY, provides construction scheduling.
  • NCC Systems Inc., located in Potsdam, NY, specializes in commercial and residential security and fire systems.
  • GSI Power Systems LLC, located in Kutztown, PA, is an electrical contractor.

  • Bob Scott Productions Inc., located in Hilton, NY, is a full service advertising agency.
  • Veteran Electrical Contracting Services Inc., located in Blasdell, NY, is an electrical contractor.
  • Duffel Bag Marketing LLC, located in Washington, DC, specializes in marketing and media communications.
  • Adventage Solutions LLC, located in El Segundo, CA, supplies medical equipment.
  • Leatherneck Safety Services and Supply LLC, located in Fayetteville, NY, supplies and installs fire suppression systems.
  • Apollo Sunguard Systems Inc, located in Sarasota, FL, manufactures shade structures and electrical vehicle stations.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May, 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. As of April 26, 2019, a total of 632 businesses have been certified.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
