ADVISORY: MTA and Turnstyle Underground Market Welcome Commuters and Visitors Back to Retail Hub on Wednesday, Oct. 14

In the latest sign of New York's economic recovery gaining momentum, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Turnstyle Underground Market are welcoming back commuters and visitors as the iconic retail area inside the 59 St-Columbus Circle subway hub ceremonially reopens. The market was closed at start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March.

Members of the media will be invited to interview business owners and take a tour of Turnstyle after the press conference.

Today, Wednesday, Oct. 14 -- 12 p.m.

Following the press conference, members of the media are invited to tour the retail corridor.
