Directions- Palisades Parkway Exit 16 / Lake Welch Parkway / Pine Meadow Road (Look for the AMC sign marking a narrow road leading to the Harriman Outdoor Center, follow to end for 1.4 miles.)

 

On Wednesday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m. State Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey will make a major announcement surrounding the revitalization of the oldest summer group camps in the nation. Commissioner Harvey will be joined by Appalachian Mountain Club President and CEO, John D. Judge. After the announcement a half hour light walking tour of the AMC Harriman Outdoor Center will take place followed by lunch at the dining hall.
