Due to the blizzard forecast and travel advisories in New York City and the NYC metro area, the State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has postponed a public hearing on proposed amendments to 6 NYCRR Parts 701 and 703 for Class I and Class SD Waters. The meeting had been scheduled for noon on Tuesday, Jan. 27th at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) office, 290 Broadway, Manhattan. DEC will reschedule the meeting and announce a new date and time when details are finalized.
