COMMISSIONER REARDON HOSTS GLENS FALLS RECRUITMENT DAY TO PROMOTE LOCAL HIRING28 Businesses to Offer 578 Job Opportunities; Glens Falls Stop is First in Series of Statewide Recruitment Events |

New York State Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon today announced that the first Recruitment Day of her statewide tour will be held Monday, June 12th, at the Warren County Career Center, located at 33 Glen Street, Suite 300, in Glens Falls. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 28 businesses offering 578 job opportunities are expected to attend. At Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s direction, Commissioner Reardon will be traveling throughout the state during the month of June in order to facilitate Recruitment Day events to promote hiring local workers. She will also meet with local union leadership to discuss regional issues. “Recruitment events are always exciting for businesses and job seekers alike,” said Commissioner Reardon. “For businesses, these events offer a unique opportunity to survey local talent, and for job seekers, they offer the face-to-face meeting that can make the difference in getting that new job they’re after.
