Eight Companies Receive New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that the following eight businesses have recently been certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

  • McCoy’s Upholstery Group Corp., located in Woodside, NY, is an upholstery manufacturer.
  • AARPOL Inc., located in Greenwood Lake, NY, specializes in highway and road construction.
  • KG Insulation Inc., located in Springfield, NY, is a drywall and insulation contractor.
  • Conquistador Services LLC, located in Phillipsburg, NJ, specializes in disaster debris removal.
  • Tintori Castings Inc., located in Accord, NY, manufactures outdoor furniture and planters.
  • Monarch Project Management Services, located in West Orange, NJ, is a health and safety consultant.
  • Weber Enterprise LLC, located in East Greenbush, NY, provides administrative management and consulting services.
  • Mabbett & Associates Inc, located in Bedford, MA, is an environmental, health, and safety consultant.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May, 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. As of May 23, 2018, a total of 485 businesses have been certified.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
