Albany, NY – Join the New York State Inspector General for an event marking ten years since the infamous 2015 escape from Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, NY – one of the most notorious prison breaks in modern U.S. history.

Inspector General Lucy Lang will moderate a discussion featuring Former New York State Police Superintendent Joseph D’Amico, Former New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Commissioner Anthony Annucci, and Newsday New York State Correspondent Keshia Clukey, with opening remarks by Former Inspector General Catherine Leahy-Scott. This distinguished group, being brought together for the first time since the escape, will provide an intimate look at the terrifying three-week manhunt, the far-reaching investigation, and the lasting impact of the incident on prison administration and oversight.
