The State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) will hold a public hearing on proposed amendments to 6 NYCRR Parts 701 and 703 for Class I and Class SD Waters at noon on Monday, March 9 at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) office, Room 27A, 290 Broadway, Manhattan.  DEC postponed the original meeting on January 27 as a result of a winter storm.

DEC also extended the public comment period for the proposed rulemaking until 5 p.m. on March 16. Comments should be submitted to NYSDEC, 625 Broadway, Albany NY 12233-3500, Attn: Robert Simson or by email to: Comments.NYCRR701and703@dec.ny.gov.
