Regional Olympic Athletes Parade in Saranac Lake March 26

SARANAC LAKE, N.Y.  – The Saranac Lake Women’s Civic Chamber, Village of Saranac Lake, Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, The Olympic Regional Development Authority and Good Guy Productions have partnered to present the second Regional Olympic Athletes Parade scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, beginning at 3:30 p.m.

We cordially invite our regional communities to join in our celebration as we honor our Hometown Olympians.  The parade will begin in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise parking lot at 54 Broadway in Saranac Lake at 3:15, continue up Broadway to Main St. and conclude at the Harrietstown Hall Auditorium where Olympians will make presentations and be available for photos and autographs.

“We are all so excited to honor our Olympians with the parade,” said Kelly Morgan of the Women’s Civic Chamber. “Four years ago our communities filled the streets and the town hall and I am sure they will again.  The Energy is unbelievable!”

Olympic athletes and their families from our entire region have been invited. The athletes will be riding in the parade on the Royalty Float from Winter Carnival, which has been re-fitted with Olympic rings.  Local youth groups including downhill and cross country ski groups, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the Saranac Lake Marching Band and Ensembles have been invited to participate in our celebration.
