Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and New York State DEC to Make Announcement about Endangered Karner Blue Butterfly

PHOTO/VIDEO/INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY

WHAT:  Officials from the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) will make an announcement about the endangered Karner blue butterfly and host a walking tour of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve.

WHO:  Wendi Weber, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Northeast Regional Director, Noelle Rayman-Metcalf, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service NY Field Office Endangered Species Biologist, Keith Goertz DEC Region 4 Director, Tony Wilkinson, DEC Director of the Division of Fish & Wildlife, Chris Hawver, Executive Director, APBPC.  Neil Gifford, the APBPC’s Conservation Director will lead the trip.
