New York State Division of Human Rights To Host Long Island Fair Housing Conference |

New York State Division of Human Rights Acting Commissioner Angela Fernandez and General Counsel Caroline Downey will join the Long Island Housing Partnership, Long Island Housing Services, the Nassau County Human Rights Commission, the Suffolk County Human Rights Commission and the Institute for Attainable Homes at St. Joseph’s College to discuss housing anti-discrimination efforts on Long Island. The conference will also shed light on the state’s new law prohibiting housing discrimination based upon lawful source of income.
