The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) today announced that the Prospect Mountain Veterans Memorial Parkway is closed until further notice due to snow and ice on the roadway, which create an unsafe condition for motorists.

The closure is temporary. The parkway is slated to close for the season on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020.
