ADVISORY: MTA Chairman Joseph Lhota to Provide Update on First Week of LIRR Summer Schedule

 

MTA Chairman Joseph Lhota will provide an end-of-week update on the implementation of the LIRR’s comprehensive transportation plan that went into effect Monday, July 10 in response to Amtrak’s emergency repairs at Penn Station.
 
Chairman Lhota will give an overview of key developments from this week, including ridership trends and reception to the new schedule and alternative travel options.
