MTA To Perform Structural Repairs On D Line Between Bedford Park Blvd and Kingsbridge Rd

Weekday d Express Service Suspended 

Beginning on March 27 d Trains Will Run Locally During A.M. and P.M. Rush Hours  

 

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today announced structural repairs will begin on the middle track of the d line this spring between Bedford Park Blvd and Kingsbridge Rd. Weekday express d train service will be suspended from 4:45 a.m. Monday March 27 through 5 a.m. Friday April 28 as a result. This work also includes restoring electrical equipment, installing and testing new antenna cable and lead abatement. Customers are advised to allow for additional time for their commutes.  

A.M. Rush Hour: 

All southbound d trains will operate locally between Bedford Park Boulevard and 145 St. Northbound d trains will operate as usual, via local service.  

P.M. Rush Hour: 

All northbound d trains will operate locally between 145 St and Bedford Park Boulevard. Southbound d trains will operate as usual, via local service.

Live Subway Map – The Live Subway Map shows the real-time position of trains, planned service changes at any given time, highlights accessible stations, and much more.  

Twitter – Twitter users can follow @NYCTSubway for service updates and customer service support.  

WhatsApp – Customers can chat with NYC Transit via WhatsApp. Riders can receive customer service support in their native language through the help of Google Translate.  

For those who prefer to contact the MTA by telephone, information is available by dialing 511. Connecticut customers should call 877-690-5114. Those who are deaf or hard of hearing can use their preferred service provider for the free 711 relay to reach the MTA at 511.
