What:  The New York State Office of Renewable Energy Siting (ORES) will hold the third in a series of seven public hearings to accept public comments on the proposed uniform standards and conditions. ORES, which was established through the Accelerated Renewable Energy Growth and Community Benefit Act, is tasked with consolidating the environmental review of major renewable energy facilities and provide a single forum to ensure that siting decisions are predictable, responsible and delivered in a timely manner along with opportunities for input from local communities.

Due to concerns about public health and safety associated with the ongoing pandemic, ORES decided, with the Town of Clayton as owner of the public hearing venue, to transition the November 19^th public hearing to a virtual format.
