Operating Engineers Recruit Apprentices |

Rochester, NY (May 18, 2022) – The Engineers JTF Local Union #832 DBA Upstate NY Engineers TF Local Union #158 will conduct a recruitment from June 13, 2022 through June 24, 2022 for two Operating Engineer (Heavy Equipment) apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Please note that the two openings listed for apprentices represent the total number for three recruitment regions - the Finger Lakes, Southern Tier, and Western regions. Applications must be completed, in person only, on the premises at the Upstate NY Engineers TF, 3174 Brighton-Henrietta Town Line Road, Rochester, NY 14623, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding Saturdays and Sundays, during the recruitment period. This is a limited-application recruitment. Only 25 applications will be distributed, on a first-come, first-serve basis. The recruitment will be offered for 10 business days or until 25 applications have been issued, whichever comes first. The Committee requires that applicants:

Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner.
