NY Lottery’s 50^th Anniversary ticket offers largest-ever scratch-off cash prize in state history

Poughkeepsie couple’s check presentation part of day-long celebration of Lottery’s 50^th anniversary & partnership with Stewart’s Shops

POUGHKEEPSIE – The New York Lottery’s Yolanda Vega will lead a celebration at a Poughkeepsie Stewart’s Shops location and present an over-sized prize check worth $10 million to a Poughkeepsie couple that won the top prize on the Lottery’s special 50^th Anniversary instant game, $10,000,000 Cash.

To help the New York Lottery and Stewart’s Shops celebrate the significance of the historic prize, the public is invited to the location to partake in special deals, promotions and more throughout the day.

The ticket, purchased at a Stewart’s Shops in Poughkeepsie, was launched in January to commemorate the New York Lottery’s 50^th Anniversary.

What:	New York Lottery check presentation and celebration with promotions, special deals for customers, etc.
When:	Thursday, March 9, 2017. Winner event at 2:00 p.m. Lottery promotional events from 1 to 3 p.m. Stewart’s Shops will offer 50 cent single scoop ice cream cones all day at the Albany Post Road location and the chance to meet their newest mascot, Fresh the Chicken.
