MTA TO ANNOUNCE RESULTS OF THE TRANSIT TECH LAB, EARLY PROGRAM SUCCESSES |

The MTA and the Partnership for New York City will host a press conference on Tuesday, July 30th at 11:00 AM to announce the technology companies advancing to a year-long pilot with the MTA to test innovative mobility solutions for the City’s buses and subways as part of the Transit Tech Lab. In February 2019, the MTA and Transit Innovation Partnership launched the inaugural class of the Transit Tech Lab, an accelerator program that connects tech companies with New York City transportation agencies to test and introduce new products designed to improve transit services. The goal of the Transit Tech Lab is to establish New York City as the center of innovation for mobility, particularly as it relates to public transit. Pat Foye, Chairman & CEO of the MTA; and Kathryn Wylde, President & CEO of the Partnership for New York City, will announce the companies advancing to the pilot phase of the Lab. Each participating company will work with over the course of a year to operationalize its technology and address bus and subway challenges.
