Harlem Globetrotters Fly High into the Olympic Center February 22

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. --- You won’t want to miss out on the high flying, rim rattling fun when the Harlem Globetrotters bring their 2017 World Tour to the Olympic Center in Lake Placid on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m.

The Harlem Globetrotters® are legendary worldwide, synonymous with one-of-a-kind family entertainment and great basketball skills for the past 90 years. Throughout their history, the Original Harlem Globetrotters have showcased their iconic talents in 122 countries and territories on six continents, often breaking down cultural and societal barriers while providing fans with their first-ever basketball experience.

On the court Wednesday night, the Globetrotters’ will feature some of the greatest athletes and entertainers on the planet. With a star-studded roster featuring Ant Atkinson, Bull Bullard, Thunder Law, Ace JacksonMoose, Firefly, Dizzy English, Flight Time and the first and only Puerto Rican-born player to ever play for the Harlem Globetrotters El Gato. The Globetrotters’ roster is sure to have fans on the edge of their seats with incredible ball handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, hilarious comedy and unequaled fan interaction. After the game, Globetrotter stars will sign autographs and take photos with fans.

Established in 1982, the New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) was created by the State of New York to manage the facilities used during the 1980 Olympic Winter Games at Lake Placid.
