Brooklyn Gold Street Pharmacy Sells Winning Cash4Life Ticket Worth $1,000 a Week for Life

Another $7 million Cash4Life ticket sold in Brooklyn is still unclaimed

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The New York Lottery today announced that Gold Street Pharmacy at 111 Gold Street in Brooklyn sold the sole second-prize winning ticket for the October 20 Cash4Life drawing. The ticket is worth at least $1,000,000.

 The October 20 Cash4Life drawing resulted in a total of 91,985 players in New York winning cash prizes ranging from $2 to $52,000. Of that total, 464 players won cash prizes ranging from $100 to $2,500. The winning numbers for the October 20 Cash4Life drawing were 08 16 43 52 59 and Cash Ball 03. 

   In addition to the second-prize winning ticket from the October 20 drawing, another Cash4Life ticket worth at least $7,000,000 is still unclaimed. For the July 24 Cash4Life drawing, a top-prize winning ticket was sold at Milky Way Deli at 1669 Ralph Avenue in Brooklyn.

The Lottery encourages everyone who bought a New York Lottery draw game ticket to check their tickets again as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing.

 

The new Cash4Life game is an exclusive multistate draw game offering players in New York and New Jersey two chances for lifetime prizes with the purchase of a single $2 ticket. Sales for the new game went on sale June 13, and the drawings are held on Mondays and Thursdays with the next drawing on October 27.

 

Since its launch four months ago, the new Cash4Life multistate game has resulted in 4,800,544 winning tickets with cash prizes ranging from $2 to $1,000 a Week for Life and $1,000 a Day for Life. Top-prize and second-prize winners have included:

 

  • June 19, 2014 Cash4Life drawing, $1,000 a Week for Life second prize, claimed by Catherine Morales of East Rockaway
  • June 23, 2014 Cash4Life drawing, $1,000 a Day for Life top prize, claimed by William Morton of Bayside, Queens
  • July 14, 2014 Cash4Life drawing, $1,000 a Day for Life top prize, claimed by Edna Aguayo of Ozone Park, Queens
  • July 21, 2014 Cash4Life drawing, $1,000 a Day for Life top prize, claimed by Jane Downey of Binghamton
  • July 31, 2014 Cash4Life drawing, $1,000 a Day for Life top prize, claimed by Rodney Cochran of Brooklyn
  • August 7, 2014 Cash4Life drawing, $1,000 a Week for Life second prize, claimed by Delphine Paige-Lee of the Bronx

The Cash4Life game requires players to select five numbers from one to 60 and a Cash Ball number from one to four. The top prize for matching the first five numbers plus the Cash Ball is $1,000 a Day for Life. The second prize for matching only the first five numbers drawn is $1,000 a Week for Life. Additional cash prizes range from $2 to $2,500. All prizes may be reduced if total payouts at a particular prize level exceed predetermined liability levels. Odds of winning the $1,000 a Day for Life prize are 1:21.8 million. The odds of winning the $1,000 a Week for Life prize are 1:7.28 million. Overall odds are 1:8.
