Overnight Lane Closures at Robert F. Kennedy Bridge/Queens Approach 3/24 – 3/27 and 3/31 – 4/3

One out of four lanes will be closed overnight in the Queens-to-Manhattan/Bronx direction (northbound) of the RFK Bridge, starting at 10pm on Friday, March 24, through 5am Monday, March 27, and again on Friday, March 31 through early Monday, April 3. The closures at the Queens approach are required for necessary pavement replacement work.

The Queens approach is on the Astoria end of the RFK Bridge’s Queens suspended span, at the Grand Central Parkway split at Hoyt Ave. Two northbound lanes will remain open on the Grand Central Parkway while the pavement work zone is in place.

Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time, or consider an alternate route.

Motorists can sign up for MTA e-mail or text alerts at www.mta.info and check the Bridges and Tunnels homepage or Facebook page for the latest information on this planned work.
