Henry Hudson Bridge Milling and Paving Work Wednesday, June 17

Manhattan-bound Lower Level Will Be Closed to Traffic From 12:01 AM to 5 AM

To accommodate a roadway milling and paving operation at the Henry Hudson Bridge, the lower level southbound, towards Manhattan, will be closed during the early morning hours on Wednesday, June 17. The southbound closure will start at 12:01 a.m. and go through to 5:00 a.m. Prior to this, there will be lane closures northbound, towards the Bronx, which will maintain one traffic lane at all times.

Southbound traffic will be detoured onto Kappock Street at Exit 18, and motorists will follow detour via local streets to the Broadway Bridge. Motorists will then re-enter the Southbound Henry Hudson Parkway at exit 17, Dyckman Street.

In order to minimize impact to motorists, MTA Bridges and Tunnels is coordinating the work with New York State’s Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) paving work on the Henry Hudson Parkway. Motorists should allow for additional travel time.

When this work is complete, the roadway will have a smoother driving surface and freshly repainted lane markings as New York City continues its reopening.

Motorists can sign up for MTA e-mail or text alerts at www.mymtaalerts.com and check the Bridges and Tunnels homepage or Facebook page for the latest information.
