Six Companies Receive New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that the following six businesses were recently certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

  • Tully Rinckey Kuhn PLLC, located in Albany, NY, is a full-service law firm.
  • MA1 Security & Investigative Services, located in New Windsor, NY, provides security guard and private investigation services.
  • Gee Woody Inc., located in South Farmingdale, NY, is a flooring contractor.
  • Cole Scheduling Services LLC, located in Hilton, NY, provides project management and scheduling services.
  • Elite Property Management & Restoration, located in Liverpool, NY, specializes in landscaping, snow removal and construction.
  • Southtowns Home Inspection, located in Lake View, NY, is a building inspector.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. There are 869 certified businesses.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
