PHOTOS: MTA Releases Limited Edition Dolly Parton MetroCards in Honor of Singer’s New Greatest Hits Album

50,000 MetroCards Available at Four High-Traffic Manhattan Subway Stations

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), in partnership with Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, and Dolly Records, announced that MetroCard vending machines at four high-traffic Manhattan subway stations will be loaded with 50,000 limited-edition cards honoring the release of international superstar Dolly Parton’s album, Dolly Parton - Diamonds & Rhinestones: The Greatest Hits Collection, which comes out on November 18. 

In the spirit of riders using the transit system and “working 9 to 5,” MetroCards will be available for purchase as early as Wednesday, Nov. 9 on a first come, first served basis. Cards will be available at the vending machines that accept all forms of payment, including credit, debit, and cash at the following stations in Manhattan:  

  • 34 Street-Penn Station 123ace 
  • 34 Street -Herald Square bdfmnqrw  
  • Grand Central- 42 Street 4567s
  • Times Square-42 Street nqrws123 / 42 St ace
