Finishing Trades Recruit Apprentices |

Cheektowaga, NY (February 13, 2018) - The Finishing Trades Institute of Western and Central New York (Buffalo) will conduct a recruitment from March 5, 2018 through March 1, 2019 for six painter, decorator, and paperhanger apprentices; three drywall taper (finisher) apprentices; and six glazier apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Please note that the openings listed for apprentices represent the total number for three recruitment regions – the Finger Lakes, Southern Tier, and Western regions. Applications can be obtained on the Finishing Trades’ website, www.dc4.org, and mailed to: FTI of W & CNY, 585 Aero Drive, Cheektowaga, NY 14225. Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner.
