Fireworks over Ski Jumps Dec. 29

Bring the Whole Family for a Night of Ski Jumping

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. --- There will be a fireworks display, Sunday, Dec. 29, over the Olympic Jumping Complex, in Lake Placid, N.Y.  The display, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., is a part of the evening’s ski jump competition, which gets underway at 6 p.m. with action off the K20, K48 and K90 ski jumps.

Several jumpers will participate in an exhibition jump off both the K20 and K48 jumps, before the three round competition gets underway on the famed 90 meter ski jump.

Admission to the ski jumping event, followed by the fireworks, is $16/adults, $10/Jr. and Sr. and children six and under are free.  Admission is also free with the purchase of the Olympic Sites Passport.
