Ride MTA Long Island Rail Road to Citi Field Tomorrow to See Mets-Giants Wild Card Baseball Playoff Game

Regular Game-Day Service to Mets-Willets Point Station

MTA Long Island Rail Road wants to remind New York Mets fans that its regular game-day train service to Mets-Willets Point Station is running tomorrow night (Wednesday, October 5) for the team’s Wild Card Game showdown with the San Francisco Giants at Citi Field.

There is no quicker and more convenient way to get to the ballpark then to hop on a Port Washington Branch train at Penn Station for the 22 minute ride to Mets-Willets Point Station in Flushing. If you are coming to the game from points east via the LIRR’s other branches, change at Woodside Station for an eastbound Port Washington train to Mets-Willets Point. Either way, the LIRR carries you right to stadium gate.

Just please be sure to have your LIRR tickets ready to present as you exit the train.  Tickets will be collected at Mets-Willets Point.

For train departure times, fans can follow the weekday evening timetables at this link:  http://web.mta.info/lirr/Timetable/Branch2/Mets-Willets.pdf   And the information is also available via the MTA's Trip Planner+, its online station-to-station navigation tool, and the LIRR Train Time app and website.

For Additional Information
