STATE AND LOCAL LEADERS TO ANNOUNCE NEW CLIMATE SMART COMMUNITIES AND MUNICIPAL ZERO-EMISSION VEHICLE REBATE PROGRAM

As part of New York State’s ongoing celebration of Earth Week, State and local officials will announce the latest milestone for the successful Climate Smart Communities Program. The event will highlight local governments taking action to mitigate and adapt to climate change. Officials will also announce the newest funding opportunity to help municipalities transition to electric transportation and continue the progress in achieving the State’s greenhouse gas emission reduction targets.
